  UNDESERVED kindness or DESERVED kindness?

  i'm tired of hearing people grovel before their "benevolent" creator.. recently i was listening to a jw relative express regrets over their rebellious life-style when they were young.

  then came that phrase:.

  "i'm so greatful for jehovah's undeserved kindness and that he can accept me with my sinful past.".

  it's absurd to think jehovah's slave should take heed or listen to advice from the ever growing mob leaving the organization.

  still, it's your problem you can't keep pace with our present truth as we continue to evolve.

  why should we listen to the the vast army of apostates and evil slaves, they don't want a gente, more humble org, they need to fight fire with fire!

We could have a beautiful dinner if poor JWs with iphones would downsize their spending and call a plumber. Life sucks right now!"

  Need I point out anything more from Aunt Connie? Yet despite her comments she wants all the big bad apostates to change and run back to the "truth."

  "You need the loving support and comfort only "Jehovah's Faithful Slave" is going to provide you." If you read anymore you'll see all the love and support she has to offer.... People like you so full of hate are the reason ex-jw's and faders lose out so hard when they leave because you easily contaminate others with venom. You're a hypocrite and you know it.

  one of the families in the hall called me last night and let another piece of the puzzle out.

  apparently there was another family that we don't even know who had gotton a phone call from these jerk off elders down here questioning them about us and what they knew.

  i would have to say that ray franz was the biggest influence for me.. when i first got on this board, a poster by the name of james, a former bethelite and organization heavy, helped me understand a lot of the inner workings in the upper echelons of the society.. .

  and of course, farkel's common sense approach was (usually) helpful..

  Paul Grundy's site is fantastic, I spoke to Bill Bowen, Billy The Ex Bethelite and countless others on this forum but the real honest answer has to be: THE INTERNET. Imagine how effed up we'd still be if we didn't have access to the info the internet supplies us?

  Zeitgeist, anyone seen it?

  so i was watching this on netflix today and had only really heard about the comparisons between jc and horus in religulous.

  it amazed me how incredibly credulous i was as a witness- i would never have watched a video so full of "lies" had i still been in.. or maybe i'm willing to believe anything now..... for those that have seen it- how convinced were you with the comparisons between jesus and the zodiac?.

  Yeah the whole claim about 12/25 did make me do a double take but I had to keep watching, it was really interesting. I could at least watch it without criticizing- be it true or not. My past self would never have made it past the first few minutes, thanks everyone for the comments. Food for thought I guess..

  i for one cannot stand any religion on any level.

  Yup, as a witness I was extremely intolerant of people in general. I noticed so many things wrong with this group or that one but never saw anything wrong with mine. I disliked LGBT for no reason, I pushed my beliefs on people trying to enjoy their free time- at their OWN homes. I rode a very high horse and felt like a blind man staring into the mirror.

  The bigotry I experienced was disgusting, "oh don't hang out with them they're worldly" "you can't talk to her she's df'd" Always a reason why WE were better and YOU were not despite the love we preached on Saturdays at 9:30am.

  With all said and done my time in a religious setting was for the most part bad. There were nice moments and great people but they never could compensate for the myriad of things wrong. Undoubteldy I find myself far from religion and from ever wanting to go back to any type of organized religious observation..
